Coral-APTX1. Why is your fursona named what it is?My fursona is myself, so of course it'll be named Logan.
2. Why did you make your fursona the species it is?The species Angelfox, or I know people have combined fox and angels though I hadn't seen them before I made my fursona, is more of a mixed combination of a guardian angel and cursed human turned into a fox. I chose it to symbolize a balance of light and dark that is in myself. As well, I love foxes, they look very soft and cuddly and they're cute as well as cunning and intelligent. As for angels, I believe and am thankful they are there, and I've always liked the idea of watching over another, protecting, it seemed as close to magic as I could get. So I combined them.
3. Why did you choose the color scheme you did for your fursona?Gold and white were the automatic colors of my choice. Dark gold because my hair is dark blond, and I use to have super blond hair when I was a kid (my mom always called it gold). I use white because I like how white fur looks, as well, I would think white fur would protect from the heat of the sun. Of course, that's look wise, the markings have more meaning and the colors a deeper reason that won't be put here.
4. What special bodily characteristics (wings, long claws, mane, etc) have special meaning?Wings = angelic feature, my desire to fly and accomplish more in life than others choose to (despite being afraid to fly).
Damaged tail = tail cut in two at the end, no one is perfect, there are always flaws, and wounds cannot always be healed.
5. What unusual markings or colors have special significance for your fursona?Three diamonds, one behind the top left ear, one at the top right ear, and one at the center. They symbolize the past (left), present (large back one), and future(right ear), the one on the back being the biggest because the most happens at the present and it has more significance for it creates both the past and future.
White fur also symbolizes purity or the desire to become and stay good, while the gold covers some of the white at the paws, tail end, and ear tips, places that touch the ground, air, basically all that is there taints what is pure. Gold being a desired substance in the world, it looks fine on the surface, but obviously it consumes.
If I had my fursona from the beginning, it would have had pure white fur and continued to gain the gold little by little. Being at my age now, I won't let it go any further, as I've already decided the type of person I am.
The blue and red paw pads... well, that has it's own story.
Heh heh, deep.
6. If your fursona has jewelry/piercings/articles of clothing, what significance do they have?White cross on a black article of clothing. Before it was a black cap with a white cross focused on the back and worn backwards for it to be at the forehead. I only use it for my fictional character when role played / written younger than I am now. Now I use the winglace, a faded black band that can be wrapped around the wing (or tail if wing is not there) with a white diamond attachment holding a white cross.
The white cross of course symbolizes that I am a christian, I choose to wear the cross because I choose to follow Christ. The black band/cap, whatever the cross is attached to, shows that obviously I'm not perfect, as I can only be pure through him(Jesus).
7. Does your fursona's personality mimic your own? If not, why not?My fursona's personality is essentially mine, if I were a fluffy Angelfox, so there are minor differences.
8. Do you currently have more than one fursona? Why, or why not?I have one main fursona, my Angelfox, but I have a few minor ones such as a an electric husky (my high school mascot was a Husky), a pink bunny (Easter theme, only that one on Easter), and a few pokémon sonas cause pokémon rock. My Angelfox will forever be my main one though, I've no reason to change it.
9. Have you had a different fursona in the past? If you did, why did you change it? If you haven't, why haven't you changed it?Before deviant art, I didn't even know what a fursona
was. Though when I was a kid I was interested in the idea of becoming an animal, more specifically a cat or a dog. Cats had more freedom than dogs though, the whole climbing everywhere. I never drew myself as an animal though, I drew myself with animals friends I made up, as if I escaped to another world that was actually on the other side of the sun (Creach).
Today I am actually embarrassed that I did try to act like a cat a little too well..
Before deviant art, I did have myself a pikachu pokesona (or chu-self). I don't think that counts as a true fursona though, so really, my Angelfox was my first fursona, I feel it represents me in every way, more than people can interpret on their own, and I don't feel I will need to change it.
